Disable Chat and Send File for customer client

In Bomgar you can disable the rep chat feature, but not the customer client chat feature. Mini mode minimizes the chat box for the customer client, but is not a true disable of chat.

Also need the option to disable the ability for customers to offer files through the customer client.

Disablement of chat is needed for certain industries like healthcare for HIPAA.

    My company has the same requirement - that a customer not be able to type and send communication via the chat window so that they continue to use our existing chat support, which complies with our security requirements. We do not want to rid of the chat window altogether, however, since a customer still needs to be able to see the Terms & Conditions, accept an elevation, or end the support session.

    Yes, but the ability to turn off chat entirely isn't there.

    The ability to disallow customers from offering files has been available for some time, and is located under /login -> Public Portals -> Customer Client at the bottom of the page:
