With rep to rep screen sharing it is possible for a representative to invite any other representative to a support session. Which is generally a very good thing, but unfortunately potential restrictions you have put in place are levered out that way. Means, any representative can invite any other without further checking, if the invited rep does have the permission to see this customer system at all.
In my mind this is a big security issue and does us only leave the option to keep this feature disabled for now until this will be fixed.
Hi Gerald - Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this valuable feature. The collaboration this allows was designed to be segregated by the team structure. So any team members can share screens with each other. If your team structure is not conducive to this type of segmentation, then it should be disabled. Because of this and the ability to disable it, we don't consider this a security issue. But happy to take the feedback to make the feature accessible for more use cases.
