The standard way to request that search engines exclude websites from their search results is by inclusion of a robots.txt file. In the current version, robots.txt is not editable and requests that search engines exclude only specific sub-directories: /appliance/, /login/, /api/, and /files/ from search engines.
A simple Google search reveals a large number of Remote Support Portals belonging to Bomgar customers in search results: https://www.google.com/#q="Appliance-based+Remote+Control+by+Bomgar"
Per Bomgar support representatives, there is no way to modify robots.txt, which means that customers cannot make their support portal publicly available without it being included in search engine results.
