Support Group counts larger than 150 from Azure SAML (SSO)

Currently Azure, when providing SAML authentication, changes the same attribute from groups to graph when a user is a member of 150 or more groups.  This includes nested groups.  With the adoption of Microsoft Teams increasing and the general movement of more targeted distribution lists, the average number of groups an AD object will be a member of is steadily increasing.  Bomgar should get head off this problem and either get support baked directly into Azure as a partner or support the cut over after 150 groups to the Graph API from Azure SAML.

Azure AD has recently made changes to the SAML implementation where this is no longer necessary. There is now an option to only return the Group memberships assigned to the application vs returning all memberships associated with the user.

Yes, this is a critical requirement.. for us we have 100s of group and with Azure not providing filtering option and relying on GraphAPI, this becomes a must.

Considering large number of organizations using Azure DC/Infra this would be great selling capability.

Beyond Support: any updates on this? Do you plan on having a solution as my list is growing with users who cannot logon with saml. I end up creating a local account for them and i do not want to go this route.

We are running into this issue and the workaround is quite a hassle. It would be great if the Graph API would work.

I came across this issue also about 6 Months ago. For smaller businesses i can see this working fine but medium to Enterprise size orgs will effeminately run into this issues, we need to have all user to have the ability to log in via SAML.
