Mass File Transfer

A mass file transfer option would be incredibly useful- The ability to transfer a specific file to multiple endpoints simultaneously.

I agree with this request entirely.. the ability to specify a job where files could be uploaded to a single site / group of sites based on Tag or Group would be extremely advantageous.

On several occasions, we have had the need to upload installer files or Settings files to 400 + remote locations that are not sitting on the same subnet this means that we have to connect into a site select the folder from and folder to and copy the files.  This takes time and is majorly open to user error (as we have found out on several occasions).

Norton's Pc Anywhere used to have a function where you could set up a job that would connect to the given sites, upload the file to a specified directory and report on its completion with a list of successes/failures or unknowns (where time out after file transfer occurred).

It would be good if that could be implemented into the Representative console.. a specified folder for the files in question and the ability to launch or schedule a deployment of files. to individual or grouped sites.

IT should also be able to do the reverse.. connect to the site and retrieve a specified file or files form site.

All of this would be based on user capabilities and would have to be able to leave the representative console running until the job or jobs complete.

I don't see this as MDM, I see this a as functional part of remote support..

This seems irrelevant - you're asking for an MDM function rather than something a remote support tool should be offering.

I would also enjoy a feature that allows you to use Bomgar to transfer files via the command shell from your local drives to the bomgar remote drives. This would be very useful for batch files.
