Want to stay anonymous? Don't worry, no email address or name fields are shared on the public portal. You can create an account which lets you vote on other people's ideas and receive updates when your idea's status changes.

Comment field should be mandatory OR optional

The comment field on the web portal under Operation>Elevations is currently optional only

The web portal allows the first line support to elevate users on their systems on behalf of, or on ANY systems in the company, however this web portal is not tied to our ticketing system so we rely on the analyst having to type in a comment (in this case the ticket number associated with the elevation) so that we know who performed the elevation and can find out the reason why, especially if its a not a system that primarily belongs to that user or if an tremendous amount of time is placed.

Please make this a setting we can configure to switch between optional OR mandatory in the web settings
