Policy Editing Change Management

There should be a way to track changes that are made to the policy for when there is more than one person that has the ability to do so. A way to compare policy differences for troubleshooting and change management.

    Admin response

As we continue to work on our new Web Policy Editor solution to eventually replace the MMC snap-in, we are very excited about the opportunitues to add further features to the policy edit process, and change control/management and approval workflows are certainly the type of features we will be working on

    We use the GPO option.

We also use AGPM (by Microsoft), however, we find that AGPM routinely 'wipes' the config, so we can't use it.

An acceptable alternative for me would be to make it compatible with AGPM.

Agreed! Would be helpful if we could compare one policy against another.  This info could be used to document changes and confirm settings.  Right now, we have to extract policies from the client and use a compare tool; which is very cumbersome.

Yes! This would be very helpful. Currently using the GPO version.
