It is critical for troubleshooting and user support in an enterprise environment to have a way to locally force a policy refresh. We use that 100s of times a day and have numerous KB articles with this as troubleshooting step for Powerbroker. End-users need a way to refresh their policy if we make a critical change they can't just sit there for 90 minutes waiting. We can't give end-users access to restart the services and it is not always practical for users to reboot their PCs. We have Gpupdate for GPOs and Policyupdate.exe for Powerbroker central policy. We need this functionality in Defendpoint EPM getting policy from Beyondinsight.
