Using Chrome Browser for PBPS Applications

Currently PBPSUI_Automate is configured to use IE for Web Based Applications.

Many Clients now use Chrome (and other browsers) it would be beneficial if we could use different browsers with Applications.

Two problems with the use of AutoIT:

    1) It is windows only, so no support for Linux or Mac

    2) Many enterprises block AutoIT because of it's history of being used in malware as an automation tool. Not that AutoIT is bad, but it has been used enough in malware that it's risky to allow it at all. And since the executables aren't signed, you can't tell good from bad. just that it's AutoIT.

I think the other idea about a browser Extension has more merit. It would be cross-platform and, if a Chrome extension should be able to run in any Chromium based browser.

You can use AutoIT with webdriver for most major browsers, including Chrome, to automate access.
