UI change to inform user that password is rotating

Scenario: User goes into UI to check in request because they want to take advantage of the UNLOCK when the credential rotates. Then they will check it back out again.

Problem: If the rotation take an extended time (could be a minute or so), the user could check in, then check out too quickly, I am told the UI will cancel any change request, the user will get the same password back, and the account won't be unlocked (because the rotation hasn't been done).

If the UI would indicate and/or prevent the user from checking out a password until the async rotation is complete, it would provide much better usability.

    does it matter why the managed account is locked out? They forgot to log off a server yesterday, they have drive mappings under the old password.. many ways to have an account locked when password rotate daily.

    The solution is to clean up the mess, then you can check IN the current request, which will unlock, and check it back out again to start fresh. However, if the rotation takes an extended time for whatever reason, and the new checkout is done too quickly, the rotation is cancelled, which means the account won't be unlocked. If the user could have some indication that the rotation is scheduled, and an indication that it is complete, they won't be too quick on the next checkout.
