Product Ideas Portal

Got an idea for a new feature? Maybe a tweak to make something work even better? Wish there was an integration with another product to make you even more productive? You've come to the right place.

The Product Ideas Portal lets you submit whatever product feedback you have, good, bad, ugly, and anywhere between.

Want to stay anonymous? Don't worry, no email address or name fields are shared on the public portal. You can create an account which lets you vote on other people's ideas and receive updates when your idea's status changes.

Add feature for Team Passwords vault to use stored credentials to launch website

It would be extremely beneficial to have the stored credentials in Team Passwords vault to launch a website and pass the credentials (similar to the feature in LastPass). I don't think recording of the session would be needed, just simple audit of who, what, when, etc.

It is understood that this is possible using AutoIT scripting. However, this is a very time consuming task for the many external web based resources that utilize tier ONE type resources (UltraDNS, etc) where the credentials are not managed by Password Safe and are static.

This appears to be going in circles. I opened case: CS0943517 to inquire if there were any updated processes in current release or future releases. I was told we could engage professional services on how to use the AutoIT solution (no thanks).

It was suggested to put this as an idea in this portal. It appears you are pointing me back to the AutoIT solution which is not officially supported. The concept here is to use Team Passwords natively to vault and pass the userID and credential to an external website.

If your solution doesn't use AutoIT, I'm eager on a brief explanation on how this is accomplished.

    Thanks!

This is already possible using credentials stored in the main Password Safe repository.
