Allow vault access for credential injection w/o also allowing manual password check-out

It seems that if I allow a user or group access to the vault for purposes of credential injection when using the access console, the same user can then log into the web portal and access the plaintext password using the vault check-out feature.

I would like the ability to make the vault accessible to a user/group for credential injection, while removing the tab from the web portal. Otherwise what is the point of hiding the credential from the user?

Completely agree. What part of allowing the user access to the admin password makes this a Privileged Access Management product.

Completely agree.  I just ran across this today and it makes the credential injection completely invalid because you have given them a way to get their hands on the actual credentials.
