After using the Rep Console on Windows platform, users typically click the 'X' in the top-right corner of the window to 'finish'. We observe that this only closes the Rep Console window and leaves it running in the background, and still accessible via the icon in the System Tray.
*Can you introduce some option to control the "close window" behaviour, either at local installation, user, or appliance level?*
The difficulty happens when the user subsequently wants to use the Rep Console: typically, they will attempt to launch the Rep Console from scratch by using the Start Menu, not the System Tray icon.
No issue with a local installation (e.g. Windows workstation) because this action will transfer focus to the already running instance of Rep Console and will open the window again i.e. only 1 instance will ever be running.
With a Citrix environment with a hosted Rep Console, we cannot transfer focus from the second instance to the first (running) instance, because the instances are isolated. If we limit users to a single instance, they are confused because they typically do not use the System Tray icon to re-open the Rep Console.
For me, the simplest fix would be to control the 'X' button behaviour to replicate the "Quit and Logout" menu function.
