We use RS as an actual external support tool to support our software clients, rather than supporting our own internal users. With this, we have many jump clients that are client servers that we have local usernames/passwords to(we do not accept domain credentials from our clients for security purposes). The issue comes when local server credentials expire, our support team must change the password, and either send me the new password, or update it in a third-party password management tool. This is time consuming, and can be eliminated, if a permission to update credentials were available, along with a mechanism to update these credentials through the rep console. This could also be taken a step further by detecting the prompt for expired credentials, and automatically changing the password, and updating the Vault credentials.
