I actually consider this a bug, but I was told this is now the expected behavior of a Jump Client since version 19.2.1. and that I should submit this as a new idea request.
Starting with 19.2.1, remote jump clients will create an audible alert (audio wave file: chat.wav) whenever you do any of the following from the Rep console:
Anything that creates an information alert/entry in the chat window will sound an audible alert.
Since we use Remote Support 99% of the time as remote administration and not for remote support, this is not desirable. We have the "Starts Quietly" option enabled on all of our Jump Clients, but it no longer starts quietly.
This is my request: If a Jump Client has the "Starts Quietly" option enabled, the only time that the chat alert sound will play on the Jump Client is when there is actual conversational chat.
