File transfer tab in Privileged Remote Access for RDP sessions

Standard jump items have File Transfer tab from Home Screen, would be nice to have same technology for RDP sessions.

    Hey Peter, it's likely a policy issue, ensure that the user or group policy enables RDP Copy/Paste function, if this does not resolve the issue or is not the issue at all, please let me know.

    @Chris Herrin

    You said:

    File transfer in RDP sessions is supported today, but only in the thick client (no web console support today). The File Transfer function is tied to the Clipboard functionality, so in order to perform the transfer you must use that icon in order to complete the transfer.

    In my system, i am not able to do that. what are the prerequisites?

    This would be extremely helpful for our use cases.

    Hey all,

    We are reviewing different UI options, and splitting File Transfer from Copy/Paste/Clipboard in RDP sessions.

    Hi,

    one of the most frequent design issues I face is needing to provide multiple concurrent connections to a Windows server with the ability to transfer files.

    As previously commented the workaround is to have the Jump client installed and set up Remote RDP, which is not very elegant.

    So providing file transfer through Remote RDP would be very beneficial. It's worth noting that standard RDP provides the ability to connect local drives for file transfer.

    Hi Guys,

    This is a must needed feature. Currently we have endpoints (Terminal Servers) where users need to perform file transfers, and this limitation is really causing us pain.

    For workaround, we have to install Jump Client on the endpoint, start a seperate session and perform the file transfer.

    It would be really helpful, if file transfer can be integrated into Remote RDP.

    Thanks,
